There's an awful lot of ground to cover when studying women in Christian tradition. The various histories that lead to the formation of the church, the different views of its early development, the numerous roles that women have held and been put into, the church's varying views and beliefs regarding women, the church's (mis)treatment of women, women's movements within and without Christianity, and on and on.

This page consists primarily of references supplied by Prof. Leslie J. MacDonald-Hicks. Some of the books, and all of the net references, were supplied by Grant Neufeld.

Please note that there may remain some spelling inaccuracies on this page since most of the information was entered into the computer via an optical scanner which is not a perfect process. The entries currently remain in need of proof-reading.
